Review on 💾 KOMPUTERBAY 8GB DDR2 DIMM 800Mhz PC2 6400/6300 RAM with Heatspreaders - CL 5 (2 x 4GB) - 240 Pin by Ryan Thrasher

This RAM works great in my 5 year old ASUS P5Q MOBO with 3.33GHz C2D processor. It's ancient in technology years, but it's 1 out of 6 computers on my network and it's enough for a media center server and a workstation. I just couldn't imagine throwing another piece of electronics in the trash just to say I have the latest. To top it off a bit, I added 16GB of RAM, upgraded to Win7 64-bit, and added a 256GB SSD for faster boot and load times (in addition to the existing 6TB of mechanical drives). The combination of that new RAM, OS, and SSD made it a pretty decent workhorse. This is my second purchase of Komputerbay memory modules. Both worked exactly as expected and at a reasonable price. The first purchase was a 32GB Micro SD chip for my BlackBerry Torch. I beat it to death on a regular basis and it still works great. I have over 4800 songs and 12 movies on my phone (I travel a lot). I delete and add things regularly with no problems. I definitely recommend trying out Komputerbay the next time you need one of their products.
