This is a very soft blanket. It's not a super thick blanket, but that's not what I was looking for. However, I was looking for an Elsa print blanket that not only had a huge print of her face on it (because who wants to see that in the middle of the night when checking on the kids). I was also looking for a print that had a could grow with my kids and doesn't look too childish as i waited for her to outgrow elsa and she still hasn't outgrown elsa i'm starting to think frozen will be something for a while anyway the blanket is soft and lightweight But that's it It also provides enough warmth for use in more moderate temperatures I wouldn't take this as the only blanket camping but it works great in our house.
