I'm no expert on zippers; i am not new These are the toughest zippers I've ever used. It's almost impossible to get the teeth on the other side of the zipper. (First side is light.) Pliers helped, but sometimes the zipper fabric tore. Rarely have I managed to level the sides. When both sides were attached I had to pinch one side of the zipper/fabric with my teeth, the other with pliers and pull hard. As seen in the picture, most of the time (about 80%) I couldn't even get the zipper between the two sides. But it's a full-length zipper, so I made the zipper longer than needed at each end, moved the zipper slider up and back, and then trimmed the zipper so it was straight. If you tried to match the fabric pattern via the zipper, it wouldn't work. On the plus side, they are durable. I've used this on overstuffed soft pillows. Tiny lightning bolts are as strong as rocks. I don't know if I would buy it again. I bought so much, the question is debatable. That's enough for me for about four more plating jobs. The rest will probably go towards selling my property.
