Brilliant! Beauty & Personal Care

My mother bought me my first lip balm just after Bonn Bell introduced it decades ago, and I've never been without it since. When the company shut down a few years ago I panicked and bought a lifetime supply as long as I can't live without them. (Seriously, you should have seen my 2 gallon can filled to the brim with Lip Smackers. It's a beauty!) I was so happy when they sold the formula to another company so it would still be available was. I've tried every flavor in the world and when I say I bought a couple packs of these crayons in April and loved them so much, I just came back to order THREE MORE PACKS, that should tell you something. And something I've noticed since the new company started licensing them is that all the flavors of Lip Smacker that are made now are a little sweeter which makes them even better! The sweetness of perfumed lip balms amplifies the flavor. So if you buy ones that contain only fragrance and no sweetener, they will smell nice but only taste like oil and/or wax. Even a lot of the flavors Bonne Bell has come out with over the years weren't that sweet, so they tasted like "uh," but not this one. They taste amazing and truly amazing! They're sweet enough to give you a pleasant scent when your tongue even lightly touches your lips, but not so sweet that you have to keep licking and reapplying them (although children can). So now I have one of these crayon scents handy in most rooms of my house, if I don't always carry a jacket with it in my pocket. This is a longer review than I intended, but it's a love letter, so what can I say? Lip smackers are my passion. πŸ’•
