Review on Elmers Disappearing Purple Washable 0 24 Ounce by Kristen Simpson

Works great

Being new to 3D printing, I've heard people use this purple glue on their print platforms to help the filament adhere better, so I decided to give it a go to attempt. It works really well and I love what I can tell from the color when it's dry. I use a glass surface to print on an Anet A8 3D printer - before printing I just rub it around the build plate, wait for the purple color to become transparent and I'm ready to start printing. Cleaning the kitchen sink is easy - as soon as water hits the glue, it turns purple again, making it very easy to tell when it's clean. This 30 pack was very profitable. There are only 2 reasons why I didn't give 5 stars: (1) When applying, you have to be careful not to leave any gaps. It's not too difficult, but it does require some extra effort. And (2) today I tried using Aqua-net hairspray instead - it was much easier to apply and cover the entire surface. However, the drying time of lilac glue is better than that of Aqua-net.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
