Review on Optimized Vionic Walker Women's Shoes for Plantar Fasciitis by Julie Lee

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good but Bad?!?: Shoes

I would like to preface this comment by being an ICU nurse and being up 3 nights in a row. So I feel like I have an incredible amount of time to check shoes for comfort and support. I also suffer from a severe case of plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. Five years of suffering, stretch marks, medication, injections, liners and special shoes. At the same time, Vionic is promoted as a superior product in the line of foot and arch support products. I will say that the grip in the shoe is pretty good, although I still had to use insoles from my doctor. I don't feel like the support was insufficient for the average user, but it wasn't enough for my severe PF case. That being said, with or without insoles, the comfort of this shoe was terrible in the upper part of the foot! There are seams/pressure points on the upper part of the shoe that are pressed so uncomfortably into the back of the foot that this is not possible. I figured the extra insoles I was using might not create enough room for my foot, so I wore them to work without insoles all night. NO. Just as terrible! I tried it for a month and unfortunately I returned to Revain 3 days late to process my return :( It doesn't matter in my product rating. I would just advise the buyer to be able to try it on personally. or return that way get back to you ASAP if you run into the same problem as me as it doesn't "fully work" or "stretches" if you leave them for the full 30 days.
