I bought a 9" green plant. I wasn't sure how tall it would be in a tank based on the manufacturer's photo, which makes the leaves look supple. It was hard to know if it would be too tall for my aquarium or if it would curve to a lower height in the water. I provide photos so others can see it in the tank. This plant should be used in an aquarium larger than 5 gallons. It will soften and sag a bit the longer it stays in the water, but it's quite a large plant and harder than the picture when it first appears, so you'll need about 9 inches tall if you want it fully being submerged in water. The tendrils around the base of the plant are soft enough to be safe for bettas. Often those random bits of sticky plastic at the base are too hard/sharp for bettas, so I was glad I didn't have to modify the plant. as soon as he arrived. Betta loves him. I love him. No delivery problems. It arrived in about a week.
