Not my best purchase, you could have found something else.

1. By sound - there is no realtek built-in equalizer at all! The sound is muffled and plastic. They added only some kind of DTS Custom when you insert headphones (For games, itโ€™s fine, but in general the sound is flat). A class lower by a gigabyte of S2H in the equalizer of the sound settings there is a whole and unharmed sound equalizer, so there, by setting the "Powerful" preset without any whistle-fake, you get a cleaner sound than with this mother, whose sound in BIOS is high definition audio. Programmatically, this can be cured, we are waiting for the Realtek and BIOS ate. 2. By RAM - there is no support for many brackets! What year did I get into that I canโ€™t now insert ordinary DDR4 memory into Asus mothers. Moreover, these bars do not start from the time of the first "Pro" version until the time of Pro II and Pro s. Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 ver 5.32 sticks won't start at all. A black screen of misunderstanding, coolers are spinning, post-signals are not turbid - the manufacturer does not want to "start" these brackets, because what's the point when there is more expensive memory. My second memory kit, the Adata Gammix D10 (AX4U300038G16A-DB10), also suffered, which should nominally operate at 3000 frequencies. But this memory is in a partial span - stable operation at 2666 frequency. XMP (D. O.C. P) profile does not work - shindus is unstable. These bars work great on the same S2H without problems and with good overclocking to 3500/3466 frequencies! Absurd, Asus! We are also waiting for a bios ate. _____ For those who want to take exactly asus and matx with a small budget, you will not find a better option. Will withstand eight-core overclocking. The first "Pro" model is outdated, the second Pro + is the same, compared to the S version there is no 2.5gb and there are 8 sata ports, otherwise there are fewer connectors and there is no NVME SSD backplate. Plus class below, it should not be considered at all. The main thing is to look at the supported memory on the site. If we take other manufacturers, then Asrock B450M Steel Legend, MSI B450M Mortar Max will help you. PS: Pepperchans with wildberries are a huge hello.

Pros
  • - New powerful power subsystem compared to the previous firmware - Readable RAM up to 128 GB, support higher RAM frequency - Realtek 2.5Gigabit network interface - The presence of new USB 3.2 and a lot of usb 3.0 on the mother + various other little things like bios flashback button, Aura sync, NVMe SSD backplate, etc.
Cons
  • - The presence of 4 SATA (a trifle, but who has a lot of hard drives is unpleasant) - Speed โ€‹โ€‹control even manually PWM threshes fans at least 700 rpm - Mediocre sound and software equalizer in the Realtek manager (more details in the comments). - Lack of support for many RAM sticks (more details in the comments)
