Bought this to better protect my MacBook Pro and I am pleased with the design, looks and features. The fins on the bottom make it very breathable, which is important for any electronics. This sleeve has two pieces that "snap" together but won't scratch the surface of your MacBook. Please note that installation may seem a little tricky. The floor can be easily attached and placed logically. The top has to be placed in a specific way and the instructions for doing this are not entirely clear. I honestly got it wrong a few times and it kept coming loose. So. The top panel has two tabs on one side and three on the other. The side with two tabs should be placed on the bottom back of the screen. The easiest way to do this is with an open laptop. Next you need to make sure the panel is snug against the lid while snapping the three tabs on top. You may need to apply some pressure, but it's okay. Just keep working on it, applying light pressure to the tabs from left to right. All in all, this is a well-made product at a very reasonable price.
