This product does not work well on dense fiber carpets.
Spread this out on my new chemical soaked carpet. He swept it into a pile of carpets. I bought 2 jars of this product because I was so desperate to get rid of the overwhelming chemical smell. Left for a few days, nothing helped. Tried again, still nothing. In the end I decided to buy a $1 Arm and Hammer carpet scent and it finally worked. I think because it was a smaller particle that could get into the carpet fibers. This product may be good elsewhere, but not in tight weaves. Very disappointed!
