These are nice lightweight but warm winter boots. They fit as expected, so if you want to include in your fit a thicker pair of socks, I would opt for a size or half size up.The exterior is padded nylon and the fuzzy interior is of faux fur material. The boot is not dense nor thick and the interior fur is not either. So for those in colder climates, a winter-weight pair of socks may be needed, again account for the extra size needed for this.The soles have treads, so will be good for gripping, the interior is rubbery/bouncy/cushy, so probably can be worn for extended periods of time without hurting. Not been tested for that capacity yet as it is still just Fall here.This will be a perfect boot for Winter in the South with the little bit of snow we get. For those in the Northern or colder climates, this will work with a pair of winter socks.
