Perfect for my needs. I needed a way to fit my existing shower head because my wife and I are different heights (I'm very tall) and the direction of the starting position in our van was awkward for me. So with this device I changed the way the shower head was placed and made our shower work better for our needs. The ends are plastic (soft) but the stem is aluminum. I wouldn't recommend it as a safety prop, but it's more than adequate for an adjustable shower.
