Review on Lightning Certified Connector Converter Compatible Industrial Electrical by Joe Gosa

I was in a rush and didn't read the reviews so it's my fault. I needed this to connect my phone to my old car stereo adapter. There used to be an original (expensive) Apple brand that worked great for five years but eventually wore out from being plugged in multiple times a day. I've seen floss thicker than this new adapter cord. I almost knew what to expect when I opened the package and saw this cheap piece of crap - and I was right. The adapter prevents the radio from detecting the phone. The phone started charging, but I didn't wait for the cable, thin as fishing line, to get hot and fail. I just found the Apple brand and I'm willing to bite the bullet and pay $50 to get something that works.
