One star off because the installation documentation wasn't very good and the camera doesn't always recognize someone in the dark. Note that if you place the camera where it can see a busy road, it can be difficult to miss passing cars. . And the installation instructions don't give you any suggestion other than using a wedge. NOW they are telling me to try placing it higher and tilting it down a bit. I set up both human-only mode and activation zone, and it no longer works with cars. However, it is unreliable in the dark. Tried to turn off the activation zone for the night - same problem. My brother comes in for coffee every morning and it's still dark due to daylight saving time. I get a notification about 90% of the time, but sometimes it doesn't work. This happens when delivering packages, which usually fall around sunset, and was one of the reasons I bought the camera. However, the installation was a nightmare for me. NO WHERE does the printed Quick Start Guide mention the memory card required, let alone where/when to insert it and how to format it! I'm 75 years old and I rely on READing instructions far more than following an app! Customer support is very responsive. Email was confusing at times (maybe English is a second language) but was great on the phone. The card needs to be inserted into Chime and "formatted" before you can see what happens when the app rings. I love LOCAL storage, not cloud dependency!
