update 7/2020: I have owned it for 2 months now. I started to see the corners of the top cover (with the flowers) start to crack. I have about 15-20 small chip tears on one corner and about 5-10 on the other. Please note: I have not used this computer/case outside, sitting on a desk and I have only carried it once in my computer bag (for which I have a case in which I mount the computer/case before I put it in my pocket pocket). , These cracks occur only when opening/closing the computer. So far this has not affected the protection of my MacBook.5/2020: super nice. Got a new 2020 Gold MacBook Air 13 inch. Installation is a bit fiddly. as the "clips" don't want to be easy to attach but they work once inserted. So far it seems to be good. I love the keyboard cover, you can see the keys behind are backlit and it doesn't seem to be sleeping.
