Review on 🧼 CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser, 12 Fl Oz, Fragrance Free, Daily Face Wash for Normal to Oily Skin - Effectively Removes Oil and Cleanses by Jennifer Hulett

I started using this product about 3.5 years ago after it was recommended to me by a nurse at my dermatology office. The first few months were fine. It dried me out a bit but I was oily so that was more of a benefit than anything. Then about 6 months into starting I got these painful rashes on my eyelids. My dermatologist thought it was my nail polish as I just got back to using it after a long break. I gave up nail polish, bought a medicine for the eyelids, it got better, but not quite. For the next several years, I had constant cycles of scaly rashes on my eyelids. I couldn't wear makeup because it was painful and looked awful. In the meantime I got the same rash on my head, ears and under the skin. After eliminating some products (but not my toner because he thought I would use Cetafil like he suggested) we figured it was just dry, sometimes windy and hot weather. So I did that for the next two years. It was actually quite embarrassing because occasionally flakes of skin would randomly fall off, usually during a conversation. About 6 months ago I read a review on another website that listed symptoms similar to mine, so I followed my dermatologist's advice. original advice and switched to cetafil. The rash disappeared in just a few days. A lot of people seem to like this product, which is great, but if you're struggling like I am, it could be related to Cerave.
