They fold and connect together
I missed this feature but when I realized the locks on the sides of the lid can stack multiple of these items I ordered 3 more. The clear one Lid is good, but I suspect it will be something that will crack fairly easily if something falls and hits it. I wish the translucent material you see on many of these types of containers was more ductile.
