Review on HumidiCup Cigar Humidifier For Up To 8 Cubic Feet Humidor, 800 Cigar Capacity (M1) by Dhoal Black

I had an issue with the ribbon cable on another humidifier I was using. I came across this item while on the revain site. Upon careful inspection I noted that the power supply connections specifically the ribbon cable and how it attaches to the unit is what sold me on the product. The unit can be connected either using the ribbon cable and connector or use the connector without the ribbon cable. Other reviewers commented on the packaging and I am in total agreement. The product is packaged well and presents itself as a quality product. Setup was easy, fill with distilled water, plug it in and set to desired humidity level. One noteworthy feature is that the product uses an antibacterial type sponge not the floral foam as other products commonly use. Once started it did not take long for the unit to reach the set humidity level. I checked the accuracy of the unit's humidity indicator with another digital hygrometer I have placed on the top shelf of my humidor and both had the same reading other units that I used had a variance. In terms of durability and performance the unit has not been in use as long as the other devices I have used but time will tell but so far I am extremely pleased with the unit.
