They will be useful until finally someone starts making wireless mice with an updated keychain instead of the old USB. We received the new laptops a few months ago and they just come with new USB-C ports for everything, including the power cord. So I was shocked to find that we can get a laptop designed like this and no one has made a mouse that works with it. Laptops came with this weird floppy adapter that you could put 2 USBs in, but it was 4 inches long and was dangling when you picked up the laptop. As if Dell didn't know that people like to take and carry their laptops with them. So this adapter is a good temporary solution and we can continue to use our old mice. I would like this adapter to be a little shorter because when you plug in the USB connector it sticks out a lot so we have to be careful with that.
