Review on πŸ•οΈ DESERT & FOX Backpacking Camping Tent: Lightweight, Waterproof Portable Travel Tents for 1-3 Persons - Ideal for Camping & Hiking by Matt Wigfall

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Didn't last long - haven't tried it yet, first inspection gives me hope.

Edit: Well after testing with water I let it air dry. In my opinion there was no wind, but what little managed to move / roll the tent about ten meters. At the same time received three holes in the raincoat. It seemed a bit crazy to me that it can be damaged so badly, especially if you plan to take it in a backpack, it can be attached to the outside of the backpack to dry after rainy nights, and it can be hurt. Of course whether mine broke or not but for Β£5 I was expecting a sturdier tent. What if I do, then I think the update will come in a year or two. This seems like a good economic tent for anyone to start with. For $70 I think it's a good buy. Depending on your preference, the rain cover has two different doors. Two zips to create an awning (which is very difficult to roll up and secure) or one zip for easy access to the tent door. Setting up this tent is very easy. I installed it in less than five minutes. I like that the clips "fit" and snap into the posts. But still enough to move around if you need to adjust. I hosed it down to test waterproofness, with the vents open. The water ran over the fly with no problems, and for the most part there were no problems. I don't know how, but the water seems to have come in through the doors. Just a few drops so probably not a problem in a normal downpour. Lightning doesn't inspire much confidence. The tub bottom is thin, but only time will tell if it's thin for good or cheap. Take a 2-day kayak tour this summer and upgrade if you run into problems. I will also update when I have more experience with it. You will definitely need a tarp or footprint to protect the thin floor.
