4100K, not 4000K, and the cables must run both ways!

The product description indicates a color temperature of 4000K, on the packaging 4100K. Not a big deal, but it's worth noting that it's not exactly the same as other 4000K bands. The warm white (3000K) version is normal density while it is labeled high density but both have the same number of LEDs (600 x 5m = 16ft). Less power consumption than expected if you only connect one end, but the manufacturer told me (for another product of his) that the copper in the strip is too thin to power the entire strip. Cut it into pieces and use at least 14 gauge wire to connect the pieces if you want maximum current and maximum brightness. Otherwise the far end will get darker! TEST: I connected a 20A power supply to one end of the strip and read 2.8A with a low resistance, high capacitance meter. Then I connected the other end and the current rose to 3.8A. It is 34W vs 46W and the spec is 44W. You must connect at least every 8 feet to get full spec brightness. Believe me, this is VERY noticeable when adding a second connection. That probably explains the mixed reviews, as some people associate one flick with another like Christmas tree lights, and it's a complete failure.
