Damn this is amazing! I bought 2 pairs and they are second to none for a full day of boat fishing. The insole is normal - not thin. These also dry quickly. The blue ones look great, I have the khaki ones too. Very convenient. I think they are best for saltwater fishing for a number of reasons.* They wash well with water. The worst blood I have to deal with when fishing is albacore tuna. and that the blood can be easily washed off with the shoecloth.* There are no shoelaces. IMHO they have no value in boots. They fit great without laces * The back of the shoe is flexible and you can step on it and wear it like flip flops when needed, which is comfortable. * The insole is perfect, rubbery, soft and durable. To remove it, ideally rinse and dry. Other shoes have fabric inserts that don't work (they fall apart in salt water conditions).
