Generally satisfied. Because of the swirling whirlpool pattern, I figured there must be a forced air mechanism. But these are just heating elements in the panels. They're almost too warm at their lowest temp (85F), so I have no reason to use a higher temp, but I use them barefoot or with socks. The top plate is sagging now and I have to lift it to get my knees underneath. It's okay, but I can't just climb onto my desk right now. I might as well remove it since I get all the heat by putting my feet right on the bottom panel - just mention it for those who might be interested.
