No touch screen, no color, no videos playable and 2GB memory not expandable. Despite these facts, this little player is my favorite device for listening to podcasts. I wouldn't trade this for an iPod, Zune, or any fancy music player. Below are the reasons why this simple player is my favorite: PROS: Cheap, easy to replace. Uses AAA battery. You don't have to wait for a charge - just insert another battery. Use rechargeable AAA batteries and save even more money. Built-in USB port, no cables needed. No special software required - just plug it in and drag and drop your music onto it. Playback of WMA and MP3 files. files (not just music). Built-in microphone for easy voice recording. Reliable. I've dropped it on hardwood, concrete etc a few times and it has continued to work. I even dropped it in water once and it still worked after it dried). This means that when you switch it on again, playback will start from the point at which the interruption occurred. This feature makes listening to podcasts much easier. CONS: Actually none.
