stinks at first but used furniture polish and ventilates the room by opening the door outside and turning on the ceiling fan; cleaned up in 2 days. seat is comfortable; The bank is strong. Perfect size; fits between and behind two doors; allows you to fully open the door. It looks great in my very small messy room/laundry room.
