I'm not a doctor so I'm not sure how they work but I'm sure they work. Appears to cause scabs and granulation of deep cuts more quickly. This material is commonly used for bedsores and other cavernous wounds, but also works well for deep and stitched wounds. The silver in them makes them beautiful and antiseptic, and healing time is apparently drastically reduced. Will last. However, it can take effect for a few days and can also be easily removed with a little saline solution or water. great product
