Well I bought this beard oil and balm about 3 months ago and I have to say I'm impressed. I'm African and have fairly coarse hair so I combed both my beard and hair to test its durability and it's still like new. The brush is soft but firm. Initially, a few bristles came loose during use, but this stopped after a week of use. Love how it was packaged in a little box with a holdall. I personally keep my kit in the box it came in because I like the little pouch to stay clean. I got this because I heard that wooden combs don't break your hair, they actually give you a static-free mini scalp massage. I don't know much about static, but my comb doesn't get stuck in my beard or hurt my scalp.
