I do a lot of hiking and horseback riding during the winter months and needed an all round cold weather glove. Rolling up my full-fingered cycling gloves wasn't helping to keep me warm anymore, so I tried them out and was pleasantly surprised. They're very warm and comfortable without being too bulky on your fingers, allowing you to access pockets or zippers without much fiddling. The handlebar pads in the palm are minimal but definitely help when riding, and the rubberized grip feels nice. The touchscreen-compatible finger rests also work really well in thicker gloves like these, and I found it helpful to leave them on to open my phone. By far the best feature is the adjustable wrist pocket/strap which is extremely effective at keeping the wind out at that key meeting point between the jacket sleeve and glove. As for the zipped pockets, I couldn't fit much in besides a couple of tissues and a bike lock key, but they're handy to have there when needed. I will also say that these gloves felt small at first but stretched a bit after a few uses so be sure to take that into account. Ordering a size up is no longer a bad idea.
