I bought a stylus to use with the GAIA mapping software on my i-pad mini to draw off-road routes. My rating only refers to this use. The stylus is well made and fits the hand very well. Each pen has a broad tip and a thin tip at each end of the pen. The fine-tipped tip had a clear plastic flat tip that seems designed to keep you from scratching the debris. They warn against cutting off this tip. However, these warnings should probably be more prominent. After experimenting with the stylus in the mapping software, I learned not to press either tip on the iPad screen to create a waypoint, just press the tip lightly against the screen. and wait. It takes a millisecond or two, but just light contact with the screen executes the selection on the device's screen rather than applying pressure. Since I applied pressure first, I bent one of the small tips that came with the pen. But there are spare tips in the box. When planning the route, I naturally used the wide tip because it was more comfortable. I gave the stylus 4 stars instead of 5 due to the lack of useful information on how the stylus interacts with the screen. I don't think device usage should be based on trial and error. But now that I know what to do, I would recommend the product and buy it again.
