Great Buy: Head Protection

I'm an auto mechanic and I often bang my head on the underside of cars. I've had many cuts and lacerations on my head from various objects under the car or from hitting my head on the lift arms when standing up. Last Wednesday I hit my head again on the lift and got caught on a sharp edge. Not only was it excruciatingly painful, it also left an uncomfortable knot on my head. Finally I decided to look for something that can help me. I came across this product and since it was relatively cheap I decided to give it a try. It arrived within 2 days (thanks!) and I used it for the first time yesterday. I had to cut the sides as it's quite large, it was very easy as there are cutting guides. After cutting it, I put it in my hat and it fit perfectly. When I wear it, I completely forget it's there. In no case should you press, pinch or rub. A foam panel on top adds extra comfort and helps keep the cap in place. I didn't notice any extra warmth from it either, it seems very well ventilated and light enough not to wear a helmet all day. Also, she's invisible, no one can tell she's in my hat, and in fact, looking in the mirror, I was convinced I wouldn't understand what she looked like if I didn't already know she was in the hat. Finally, I understand that this is not a hard hat, it does not protect me if something falls on my head, BUT that's not what I bought it for. I have confirmed that he really does what he says. I bumped my head under a car the first day I had that thing in my hat and I didn't feel a thing! No cuts, no bruises, no ears. He did EXACTLY what I wanted. I would recommend it to anyone who works in the auto mechanics field or bumps their head from time to time. I sincerely wish I had discovered them a long time ago.
