Not strong enough for everyday use.
Pros. Small form factor, doesn't get very hot like metal. minuses. It's made of flimsy plastic. I broke it in the only USB port on my Surface Pro. It was quite difficult to fish out a piece without damaging my device. I would only recommend this if you plan to install and exit. If like me you need a portable device to transfer files from machine to machine, look elsewhere.
