inaccurate adjustment
Neck size chart not accurate, I adjusted it to my neck size, 16 1/2", spent 15 minutes tying a bow and thought I was going crazy. Then compare with one of my own, the length is about 2" longer than my own tie. Luckily I can remake them and they fit me now. Another point is that polyester is much more difficult to tie than silk. Note that you're spending the extra money on a silk bow tie.
