Why bore you with a lengthy description of the LED strips when you can just see them in use in the short 40 second clip attached to this review.I can say that they are compatible with Gigabyte's RGB Fusion software, you must use software to gain the effects. In my case the default action for these LED's without the software from Gigabyte was the boards default orange glow. Works out of the box with my Raspberry PI 2, which I what I bought it for. It's not an everyday keyboard for sure, but I am using my Pi's as simple systems deployed in remote locations.
