This thing is super cool! I use it for my Little black box (Linux). I had a small wireless keyboard which was fine but this is much better. The buttons are really snappy, it kinda feels like texting on a big old school phone on steroids. the joystick controller is so convenient as well as the vcr control. This blows any remote control away. It sucks to search using the standard remote. I takes forever and if you get it wrong, you have to start from scratch. Onscreen keyboards are a nightmare…

I purchased this remote to use with my newly purchased KODI box. It makes performing searches much easier. Small, compact and easy to use. The backlight is really helpful when watching something in the dark. The battery can go days without having to be recharged and the trackpad works amazingly well.My only gripe is that there isn't a menu button or a power button.

Compact & feels like game controller but the keys can be hard to read unless you have 20/20 eyesight. That's the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. It works well, just a little hard for me to know where certain keys are without switching glasses.

I bought the one with USB dongle, very easy set up on Raspberry Pi 3. Just plug and play! When the backlight is enable if not use the light goes off or maintains a dimmer bright until you click anything. It is true that when you are on a dark room is difficult to enable the backlight unless you already know the buttons by memory. Overall a good product, cheap, very light and thin.

Works out of the box with my Raspberry PI 2, which I what I bought it for. It's not an everyday keyboard for sure, but I am using my Pi's as simple systems deployed in remote locations. This keyboard gives me a great local interface whenever I need it.Only suggestion to for their design team: make a clip for the USB BT dongle on the cover that pulls off in the back. The product is great had to return first one because it came without the dongle and was missing the battery. Return was a bit of communication between amazon the vendor and back to amazon. The only downside is the function key has no light and can be a pain to find in the dark esp since you have to hit the f2 key to turn the backlight on. In heavy darkness keys are easy to see.i will most likely get the Bluetooth version as well.

While it functions, it functions poorly compared to a similarly priced item that looks and feels identical, except this is slightly thicker. The backlight on this is very dull, and the distance/timeout seems off compared to others. I can live with all of this, but there are a few other quirks that are not user friendly. Great little wireless keyboard. Would have been 5 stars if the battery and battery cover didn't come loose so easily. My twins like to steal it and throw it around. The battery cover pops off without much effort. Like the on off switch to save battery life (and keep kids from changing what's in the screen).
