Better for older kids

I ordered several sets for my 3rd grade students. The screws are super tiny and can be very difficult to get in. I like the concept but steps were missing in the directions so I had to help quite a bit. Probably better for older kids. Some parts are kind of cheap so they broke or fit properly. They did have fun assembling these though.

Fun but missing directions

My daughter wanted a robot kit for her bday. She was so excited about this one but is was missing directions for how to put the battery on. I had to help a lot too. She became frustrated with the product

Not a fine designed parts

Parts are poorly manufactured, specially plastic parts. It can be understood that these are to be used for training and practical on hand experience for kids. But assembling those parts are not easy for kids. Screws and plastic parts are very low quality and poor designed one.

For $20 or whatever this costs, I suppose I can’t complain too much, but this is what you will experience if purchased:Subpar instructions that leave out critical details/pictures on some of the most critical parts of a project, leaving you to interpret the step as best as possible (your child will have no clue).Wires that are not stripped appropriately, forcing you to re-strip (barring you have such equipment). Had high hopes. good for me

We were looking forward to building this with our kids based on all the positive reviews, but we had the following issues already after attempting to build just two of these:1) The plastic tray for bubble machine cracked on the side so it leaked and we can't use it to fill the machine2) One of the long wheel rods was missing, so we had to take for another kit set.which means eventually one of the kits will not have enough parts3) Some of the kits screws and brackets were either too large or too

Great value for the money and kids love them

These are wonderful! I ordered a few boxes for a Yguides Daddy Daughter night! Was a hit with all the girls and the dads!But separate small screwdrivers, the ones in the boxes are low quality easily break. I’d buy again in a heartbeat!

Fun activity for all ages!

These are super fun mini-robots! Small children will need help with the tiny screws, and you will need to get extra screwdrivers if you plan on having more than one person build a robot at a time. It would be nice if the plans for each robot were printed separately for the same reason. Sturdy and work as described.

Fantastic kit! Models require thought and non trivial for kids, but that is exactly why it is so good. Both of my boys 10 and 6 love it.

This kit is great for homeschool science and just fun for kids who like to tinker.-Some sets are missing pieces and some of the pieces are very thin plastic, which cause them to break easily.-The instructions are mediocre. My 7 year old needs help deciphering them, and the image quality is poor. If you are used to Kiwi Crate instructions you will be greatly disappointed.-The variety is ok in the set but two are almost identical.Overall it's fun, but I don't expect the creations to last very…

Excellent STEM toy for age 8+

Excellent product. All pieces need to be assembled with tiny screws with provided Philips screw drivers. All the different projects within the box worked well.This is meant for age 8+.But fun application of very simple components which when assembled make a fun toy.Highly recommend!

Not for people that read instructions

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter as a set of projects we could do together. Today we started with the two wheeler balance car and then did the bubble machine.The end instructions for the balance car were missing and it went right into the bubble instructions. We were able to figure it out.The bubble machine had the wrong sized metal 'shaft', leaving me to do some macgyvering to make it work.In both sets, the instructions were lacking. This was a great purchase for my daughter. Nice kids hobby kit.

Good hobby set kit for kids. Electrical and mechanical parts, multiple prescribed projects or parts to make your own. My son continues to combine parts from the kit four other projects.
