Great idea, but why cardboard?

This is a great idea in theory, but making the body of the car out of cardboard is a big mistake. It's all but impossible for a child to get the wheels to stay straight, turning what should be an eye-opening, wonder-inducing introduction to the world of engineering into a frustrating, discouraging disaster.

Cardboard?: my feedback

I agree with what someone else said, why make this out of cardboard? Great idea but poorly designed. Son got very frustrated when putting together because the wheels would not stay straight due to the cardboard body. Won’t run even on smooth surface. Had to tell my son just to enjoy learning about the wiring aspect.
