I bought my S9 Note in November 2018. As usual, I bought an Otter Box Defender phone case. I've been using these cases since 2000. When I bought the Otter Box, I noticed that the screen protector wasn't included. When I asked Sprint Tech, they said that cases no longer come with screen protectors and that Zagg's screen protector is the latest technology. Sprint put a Zagg screen protector on my S9 Note before I left the store. It looked great. However, within two months the protective film on the Zagg screen protector on the right side of my phone broke about 1.5 inches from the bottom. I have not dropped my phone or kept anything in the pocket that I keep my phone in. In March 2019 I got tired of looking at the crack and it seemed to be spreading, so I ordered another Zagg screen protector from Revain. I installed this screen protector and I have to admit that I didn't do as much installation work as The Sprint's technical staff did. But they could be used. A month later, another tear appeared on the protective film, in exactly the same place as the first. Again, the phone wasn't dropped or kept in a pocket with anything. still. I am disappointed that this product seems to break with normal use. It's quite an expensive product to fail so quickly. I have requested a replacement from Zagg. I'll wait and see how it works. There has to be a better alternative.
