I only deducted one star because the brands I have used before were La Roche Posay and Bioderma which were fantastic. However, they were more expensive, so I decided to try the Garnier version to save money. The first thing I noticed is that I have to use a lot more to get a clean face. It used to only take me about 3 rounds of cotton swabs to get it clean, now I use at least 5 and the cotton is still dirty which is disappointing. After that, my skin isn't as clear as other brands. It's not bad, but I definitely have some small pimples on my face. Also - just personal preference as other brands had a very light and clean scent while Garnier did not. Overall it helps, but I think next time I might go with one of the other brands. When I have to use more of a product to get things done, it's hard to tell if I'm actually saving money. My mom complimented me on my skin when I used Garnier, which is worth noting because I have notoriously horrible skin.
