Pay attention to the number of panels!

I bought this monitor for casual gaming and programming. As you can see on my screen, there is a vertical black line that makes the right panel appear faded. First thing I notice is that this is a bug in the new IDE update. I later realize that this shows up in the video game as well. The first solution is to disconnect the DP cable and try to reconnect it, but sometimes it comes back after waking the monitor from sleep. A black line may appear if you try to pull the panel towards you at an angle. Also, the black screen issue is not 100% solved, at least for the Nvidia 2000 series card. After installing the latest firmware and discs I get a black screen in game. It just doesn't happen that often. The monitor mount is also not of the best design. I am ordering two of these monitors. The one I'm posting here can't actually reach the same height as the other one I bought. It deviates by 0.5 cm, although there will be no problems with a dual-monitor mount. Do not buy this monitor if you are afraid of getting a defective one. Also, the client-server from LG sucks. The best solution for their customers is to ask them to send it back and they will diagnose and fix it for you, which is time consuming when you really need a monitor to work. On the contrary, they don't treat the customer like Dell. I remember buying an Alienware monitor from Dell five years ago. This monitor has a scratch on the back and they were willing to send me a replacement before I sent the defective one back. I agree with other comments like waiting for sale if you really want it. I recommend staying away from this monitor if you really want a stable monitor for work and play. Unfortunately I decided to keep one of the two LG monitors as they work perfectly for me (I really need a 4k monitor to be easy on my eyes). I can't stand the color difference so I guess I'll have to order another lg-27gp950 for a dual monitor setup. If my second order also turns out to be a defective monitor, I will report here.
