This monitor was sold two weeks ago for $600. I ordered it despite the wrong photos Revain has. It was $100 cheaper than the old model and I thought it was a mistake. This model doesn't have an RGB backlight like the old model, but I'm more worried about how this monitor looks from the front. This is a very good monitor all things considered. However, it has one serious drawback that must be taken into account - it violates the overclocking mode. If you enable it, you will periodically encounter black screens where the monitor stops working for 3-5 seconds and then the image reappears. Of course, this happens at the most inopportune moment. Got it for sale. The first was returned due to stuck pixels in the center of the field of view. The second has two dead pixels around the perimeter of the panel. I want to give 4 stars but can't due to dead pixels. The first one returned had some bleeding. This one has a lot more. It has great colors and black. Plays all my Xbox Series X games flawlessly at 120 fps. You can add a grid for shooters to the screen. Makes fashionable fire a breeze!

When this monitor works, it's amazing. A few downsides include a weird issue that causes the left and right sides of the image to be out of sync. You need to restart your monitor to fix the problem. Backlight bleeding is also noticeable. Finally, one day while browsing YouTube, I got an unexpected black screen. I hope a firmware update fixes two of them.

Best monitor I've ever had (so far. - Only been using it for a few months). The backlight ring on the back glows very nicely against the wall, a feature of this monitor that I really like. The quality of the images and colors on my screen is excellent. I am very happy with this monitor.

The LG 27GP950-B is a very good 4K gaming monitor, but unfortunately it has a critical flaw that renders it unusable. This disadvantage is the intermittent blinking / blanking of the screen when using DP 1.4 functions. You can get around this by using HDMI instead, but then you limit the display to 120Hz, which I didn't pay for. LG promises to fix this issue by November 2021, but it's still present in the latest firmware (as of August 2022).

Has the worst ips glow if you like playing horror games or scary movies with dark scenes this is not for you. The white glow takes up most of the screen.

Used with Xbox Series X. The colour, image and detail are amazing. Turn up the brightness as you wish and you don't need night vision. This is a great monitor and I would recommend it to anyone looking to switch from a TV to a monitor for gaming.

I really like this monitor. But for some reason sometimes the monitor shows a black screen for a few seconds. This is very frustrating for me as I use it for sim racing and those seconds make a huge difference when you're driving at 180mph. Update if you disable g sync there are no black screens but that was one of the reasons I bought it to use. That's why I never use g-sync now.

My monitor stands are broken, they can look straight, you have to move the stand to the right to get the right angle. Otherwise it's a good monitor.

The screen obviously didn't work properly and they charge a $100 repackaging fee for a replacement if I don't have the box it came in. What an irony, because I have to start playing to find this kind of problem, but my room is small enough that I can't start playing without throwing the box away.

I bought it from LG Online Store on May 11th and have been using it ever since. It was fantastic. The only problem is the occasional black screen, which is known to happen. I hope lg will solve this problem but for now I solved my problem by setting free sync as base and high refresh rate. The dp non dsc mode is also used.

I have had many LG monitors over the years and they are the kings of OLED but this monitor is CRAFTSMANSHIP! Coming from 3 27" GL850 1440p monitors and this monitor looks horrible next to them. The GL850 has some really great blacks, but on this model the blacks are gray and washed out. It looks absolutely horrible. Turning the brightness down, the colors get very dull I'm so disappointed $700 for a monitor that looks awful.

Why do you ask? With so many pixels, 4k monitors are prone to dead pixels/stuck pixels which are so prone that you should notice a dead or stuck pixel on your monitor within a month. But this monitor needs a difference, I've been using it for over 6 months now and still not a single dead/stuck pixel. If you are looking for 4K with G-Sync and high refresh rates at a reasonable price, CHOOSE THIS monitor.

I know a lot of people will say, now that you have a Mac, why use a gaming monitor at all? However, 144+4K HiDpi makes my life better (most likely yours too). This legacy product has updated firmware and excellent compatibility with M2 series chips. The ideal size for 4k gaming is over 27 inches, but this monitor still has excellent build quality. Assembling the stand is very easy. You don't need any tools. A flathead screwdriver is optional to install the stand. The picture quality is amazing, there are almost no colors. Great partner for LG32GQ950.
