Review on LG 27GP950 B Ultragear Display - 4K, 3840X2160P, 144Hz, HDR, Pivot Adjustment, Adaptive Sync, HDMI - Model 27GP950-B by Praveen Kumar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

color accuracy. spicy. Fur on local dimming

Long recap: I was arguing between 27GP850 and 27GP950. Order 950 first. Read some reviews that suggest 27 4K is too small and requires windows upscaling. Quite a few reviewers are against Windows scaling. Fact: 27 4K 100% scale is hard to read. despite the poor view of the window scales. I went with 125%. Man this 4K 27 is sharp. Text. Picture. everything super clear. I am canceling the delivery of the 27GP850 immediately. This is the goalkeeper. I thought everything works fine. Turn on OC at 160Hz. PC: 9900K, Z390, 64G RAM. The horror begins the next day. I have 3 monitors connected to 2080 TI. Another 1 to the Yamaha receiver. So it's almost like connecting 4 monitors to one PC. everything worked the day before. (as I thought?). This morning I found that 3 monitors were connected and working as they should. However, the receiver does not receive a signal. The Nvidia Control Panel shows that 4 is connected. but only 3 devices can be activated. this is very frustrating. I thought I broke the 2080 TI. Borrow a 3070Ti from my son. and the same problem. Only 3 can be turned on at the same time. Replaced my 2080 ti with another computer and it also can't turn on all 4 at the same time. As tried 1080 ti. somehow managed to get all 4 monitors at once. I've spent a lot of time diagnosing this problem. The next task was to reformat the windows. same problem. Then I wanted to give up and return the monitor. I decided to factory reset the monitor. Reboot my computer one last time before removing the monitor to return. Everything is sudden. All 4 monitors work. Conclusion: Factory reset. Reset OD at 160 to 144. and it works fine. but as soon as I turn on 160, the receiver turns off. Does it have anything to do with 160 VS 144? I assume the bandwidth has been used up?
