I started making artisanal coffee during the pandemic and now I understand the value of a gooseneck kettle. I used to use a kettle for tea and instant water, much faster than a stovetop, but I needed a gooseneck kettle if I wanted to make real coffee. Enter this best of both worlds product! I love that I can set the exact temperature I want and it heats up quickly and efficiently! With a gooseneck, I can then pour exactly where I want the coffee beans to soak evenly. To be fair my old kettle still has some advantages over this one - it has a sturdier construction, like a giant thermos that can keep warm for hours, while this one is more like a traditional metal kettle. But I love that I no longer have to use the stove to heat up and I have a lot more control over the temperature. This is a great product for coffee lovers.
