The problem with reviews like this is that they are always personal experiences. 1. No one can refute my experience without being with me, and even then they can only rely on fact-checking. 2. Every experience will be different because everyone is different. There are issues with this as they dominate the shoes. They are shorter than regular size 9 shoes. For reference, according to Brannock Devices, I'm exactly a size 9. - It's quite crowded, so after alternating between jogging and walking a quarter mile at a distance of 5km, my started hurting my left leg when I was done. And later that night my knees started to hurt. They are a bit wide just before the instep of the foot. Add to that the insole is soft and has a good texture and the result is that your foot slips through the sock which adds to the chafing sensation. Surprisingly, they are heavier than Adidas Terrex sneakers. Not too big of a deal, but definitely unexpected. I wish I could understand why they used plastic plates to lace up their shoes. This stiffens the top of the foot, making long runs uncomfortable. The style seems pretty solid. It seems to be going fast. But you cannot enjoy the journey.
