I recently purchased Punjabi Mohari from Step n Style and was very happy with my experience. True to its description, these shoes are definitely authentic, traditional Indian shoes that can add a touch of ethnic charm to any outfit. First, I appreciated the attention to detail and craftsmanship that went into making these shoes. From the leather on the outside to the gold thread embroidery, you can see that great care has been taken in making these moharis. Also, choosing a light brown color for the color palette was a great way to make things versatile and easy to mix and match with all types of clothing. In terms of fit and comfort, I have to admit that I had to learn a bit. It took a little trial and error to get the right size and to get used to the pointed toe design. However, once I got used to it, I found that these shoes were surprisingly flexible and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. My only real quibbles with Punjabi Modjaris involve durability and maintenance. Although the leather is of high quality, the shoes scratch and wear down fairly easily and I would appreciate further guidance on proper care. Overall I would give the Punjabi Modjaris a solid 4 stars. As someone who has always been a fan of traditional ethnic clothing, these shoes were a great addition to my wardrobe. They're stylish, comfortable and versatile enough to wear to any special occasion. If you are looking for authentic Indian shoes, I definitely recommend trying these moharis.
