I bought these headlights to upgrade the standard halogen bulbs in my 02 Mustang GT and have seen several YouTube videos about this brand on this particular car which made it very easy and looked inexpensive to upgrade. If you look at your car with the Auxbeam scope, you'll see several options, all slightly different. At the same time, the videos I saw on YouTube are NOT specific to this light set. I had a general idea of how to install them, but not much. Yes, they come with instructions, but they are very vague (keep reading, it gets better). So the headlights arrive, I take the headlights to my car and get ready to install a new set. You'll quickly discover that the lamp socket in my Mustang didn't fit the fan or lamp cover on the lamp itself so I had to remove the lamp cover from the lamp to put the bracket on top. The protective cover is removed from the lamp using a tiny Phillips head screw that holds the protective cover in place and then the protective cover simply slides off. Some YouTube videos I watched showed this process, so I wasn't surprised. This is where it gets confusing. The screw is SMALL! so small All the screwdrivers I had couldn't get it out. So I start researching. The listing for this particular flashlight on the Auxbeam website mentions that an Allen key is included. The Amazon listing does not mention an Allen key in the "In the box" section. Hex head screw that holds the guard in place. But THIS particular kit that was shipped to me had a PHILLIPS HEAD screw and not an Allen wrench like Amazon's. So, again, that Phillips head screw was so small I couldn't pry it out with a screwdriver so I could install the damn things. At this point, what should have been just a quick 10 minute change of my lightbulbs turned into a 3 hour dizzying activity of trying to figure out what to do. I always have one with me. If you don't know what they look like, check them out. They have SMALL little Phillips screws holding them together and come with a small tool so you can install them. The tool comes with a small Phillips screwdriver. Out of curiosity, I tried the headlight kit screw and voila, it works. So yes, to install this headlight kit on my 2002 Mustang GT I had to use a tiny Tech Deck skate tool and the entire test took over 3 hours. Anyway, the lights seem to be working fine. I haven't had a chance to use it yet as I just installed it today. I just wanted to share my story in case anyone else comes across this situation. If you need a tiny screwdriver to remove the weather shield from a lightbulb, run to the target and grab a set of tech decks with the included tool for about $9.
