Indoor Rock Wall: bouldering and wall gear
The toggles were part of my daughter's Christmas present and she loves the indoor rock wall! Plywood (sand) attached to two 2x4 studs in the wall. I used (5) 3" bolts to attach each post to the wall and doubled up on a couple #8 1 1/14" screws to attach the plywood to the 2x4's. It easily holds several people (including adults) on the wall at once. This gave me almost 1/4" clearance for the backs of the screws to keep them out of the drywall. Now that it's time to take it apart I can remove the anchor bolts filling holes and you'll never know that it is installed.
