Review on Black Sennheiser 507081 GSP 350 PC Gaming Headset with Surround Sound for Consumers by Agata Wielgosz ᠌

Lousy product, low quality.

Sold them and forgot like a bad dream. I don’t recommend anyone to take this hyped brand in order to get a good sound (who? Well, who promoted them? We still can’t understand. Who in general and from what got it that sennheiser is a “offset”?) I have a feeling that people who praise "it" have never heard normal ears and are trying to justify the price tag of 15 thousand. Well, for the price that they want for it, I'd better take 3-4 asus echelon or I'll look for something more interesting. Red price Sennheiser G4ME Zero - 3000.

Pros
  • Relatively comfortable.
Cons
  • What didn't live up to expectations? Yes all. For such and such a price tag) I tried to change seats from the comfortable Asus Echelon (the microphone turned up after a year and a half), as a result, I attached a microphone from the Sound Blaster Z kit (yes, I have a sound system = the claim is justified). I tried the Sennheiser brand before buying (namely, other people's PC 330 with the brand's most uncomfortable ear cushions, the sound is good, everything worked out) G4ME Zero took for games, claims were on the "excellent positioning" and "perfect stereo sound" declared by the people in general. Having taken the long-awaited original headphones, I brought them home and started with music tests. Bass? Yes, in the 330s there are none at all, here they are, but absolutely unexpressed, quiet, no matter how you try to correct the situation in the sound settings. Asus Echelon is the undisputed winner here. Very competent bass. Okay, not the point, the whole emphasis is on GAME's for a price tag of 13k or more. We go into the most ideal CS game for positioning tests. I have never heard such gesture. As long as any shots are fired, you will never know where the running enemy is. The most interesting thing is that you do not even hear YOUR steps! They seem to be muffled by something! No, well, of course, standing in the center of the darkness on the first DeDust, you will definitely hear the side from where the enemy will come. But only without shots. Otherwise, it all turns into a meaningless sound mess. I tried everything, use Scout Mode (a feature from Creative in the sound card that increases the volume of quiet sounds), without Scout Mode, tried to play with the equalizer, tried to turn it off. All chips like Crystalizer, etc. were always disabled, there were no zvukovuhi interventions in this regard. Also, being in shock, I read about Sennheiser ear heating for more than $100. Tried. The same nonsense, but what is there to improve. In general, I felt like a complete ZERO in any GAME. Ear pads XXXL? It may be comfortable to wear on your head, but the long distance to the speakers and the free movement of the ear will make you feel (in terms of sound).
