Wanted to like (UPDATE)

The case is quite good, but it has one very big drawback. The top pocket used for the HDMI cable and joycon straps doesn't protect them very well. If the top pocket had some sort of velcro this would work much better. It's also not like the straps and cables fall out sometimes, they just fall out when the lid is closed. Adding a velcro cover would also be beneficial as I could put things in there that could damage the switch if it falls on it. The picture shows that the original Nintendo HDMI cable is not used. The cable is much thicker and falls out quite easily. The straps fall out just as easily as the cable. For a $30 product I expect top notch performance as the price suggests. UPDATE STARTS HERE After receiving my professional controller I decided to review the case again. I tested the case with all included components. Surprisingly, the components rarely failed. From this I conclude that the top pocket only prevents cables from flying around the case. The switch components resting on the cables prevent them from falling out. It's nice to know that this product is doing what it was designed to do. I can't recommend this as a 5 star product as the price of $30 is quite steep considering it's basically a lunch box with a change of room. I would only take this case if it's the cheapest option available. The attached photo shows the location of the components in the case. I tested the case by shaking it vigorously and then inverting the case many times. I repeated the test several times to see how well it protected the components. NEW UPDATE It's been a week since I started using the case. I noticed a lot more flaws than previously thought. The pocket for holding the cables doesn't work at all. There was probably a bug in my previous tests as real applications tell me the bag is useless. It would probably be better to just have a ziplock bag with drawstrings than a pocket. In this case, there is another serious drawback. The slots at the top used for storing games tear fairly easily. I noticed this when I put my switch game in once and ONLY crashed once after the slot died. There are no words to describe my disappointment with this product. For a $30 case, it should cost $10 instead, which is well worth it. I absolutely do not recommend this shop!
