Works for saving Gamecube games on the original Gamecube and also for saving games on Nintendo Wii. Fits and works perfectly. The only potential downside is that it has a little red light to show it's plugged in. This indicator stays lit even when the system is off. If you have a system in your bedroom, the red light can be a little confusing. But you can just turn it off or take out the memory card. Ok I thought it would work but it gave me problems. When I tried to save my game, for some strange reason it said it was corrupt. Very disappointing. TO UPDATE. The company contacted me and actually wanted to reprimand the situation. I appreciate the company taking the time to address this issue and I think it's only fair to give it two more stars. It worked fine in slot B, but when I put it in slot A, it kept asking if I want to format all the data on the card, and in other cases, the memory card was not recognized by the system.
