I was definitely expecting a softer and fluffier mattress topper. But I'm still very happy with what I have. He doesn't make any noise, you don't even notice it! I washed it VERY carefully and decided to hang dry based on the reviews I read. I think maybe that's why it's not as soft as described. But I still cover it with sheets, so I'd rather it didn't go bad in the dryer. It fits PERFECTLY on my memory foam/gel mattress. But the sides feel quite thin and delicate so I will be careful when wearing this case. We live in a particularly rainy area of Maui, Hawaii. So I needed something waterproof to protect the memory foam. In addition, some nights can be quite hot, leading to profuse sweating. ANY moisture destroys the memory foam, so I didn't want to risk it. This product meets our requirements very well. I took off a star because of the thin pages. I can see how easily they can break. And also because I have to dry. I don't understand why this company is denying the warranty because someone followed the instructions and dried the pillow. One reviewer said they told her the dryer caused "microscopic holes." It seems odd to me that if this product is marketed with "microscopic holes" to make it breathable (which it is, by the way), this would void the warranty. In any case, I will not do anything to revoke the guarantee. because the guarantee is one of the main reasons I chose this mattress topper over others. CONCLUSION: Product as described / works as described I am happy with this purchase I would buy again I would recommend to family and friends Overall a good quality waterproof mattress topper. And great for memory foam!
